Antiques & Amish tours go hand in hand

Our Amish friends find the
fact we sell country & primitive antiques amusing.
We are selling the same items they still use in their day to day lives.

They often ask us to look for Singer treadle sewing machines
& those old white Maytag washing machines-
like the one Grandma used.

We'll often trade those items for
woodworking, produce, or a little help removing
"chunk" (junk) from an old barn.

You'll find our 50.00 dollar Amish tour
(up to 4 adults)
to be a window into the lives of our Amish friends.

Call now to reserve your time.

Vintage Crockery/Crock Memory Pot or Jug

We've always been fond of folk art & hand made pieces. This form, the memory piece, has been a popular craft -since Victorian times. Often made with a late family member's jewelry -
the memory jug is a window into the life of a person.

Measures 8" tall & 8" across.
Looks like a crock cookie
jar or bean-pot marked USA
was used as a base for this awesome
piece of vintage Americana.

Country Chippendale Period Chest 1850.00
(the dog is not for sale at this time)

Started selling antiques out of my barn in the mid 80's. Old signs, milk cans, cupboards, dressers etc. In November 87' - moved into a shared space in our local antique mall. Soon outgrowing the shared space, evolving taste, & local demand headed me down the road to selling to the Michigan resort crowd. High end cottage chic, Old Hickory, Rittenhouse rustic lodge furniture...

By the late 90's commercialism killed the "Lodge look" so My other half and I moved to Wisconsin ( Land of Laverne & Shirley and Lienenkugel). Living in Wisconsin, and now Minnesota, is like being in a time capsule. Garrison Keillor's Lake Woebegon is real
and we are living it.

We are dealers in Country furniture, folk art, farm junk, & unusual items. Residing amongst the Amish in the Harmony Minnesota area, we are blessed with being able to buy most of our stock right off the farm & within 75 miles of home.
